When I went there, I tried the shaved ice and toast, and I have to say, they were both absolutely delicious. Despite already having had a big meal, I couldn’t resist fighting over these desserts. The original shaved ice flavour had mung bean powder, which is not usually something I enjoy, but it was creamy and not overly sweet, making it the perfect complement to the ice. The toast was thick, crunchy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside – so satisfying that I preferred it without honey.
What’s more, the portions are generous and reasonably priced. For four people, we spent around RM50, which was totally worth it for the quality and quantity of food we got. While the pork was a bit lacking, the beef and lamb were exceptionally tasty and flavourful. The standard sliced pork and beef are included in the buffet price, and the majority of the steamboat ingredients are quite fresh.
